Theory of quantum fluctuations and the Onsager relations

A microscopic model is constructed within the theory of normal fluctuations for quantum systems, yielding an irreversible dynamics satisfying the Onsager relations. The property of return to equilibrium and the principle of minimal entropy production are proved.     

Partially isometric dilations of noncommuting -tuples of operators

Given a row contraction of operators on a Hilbert space and a family of projections on the space that stabilizes the operators, we show there is a unique minimal joint dilation to a row contraction of partial isometries that satisfy natural relations. For a fixed row contraction the set of all dilations forms a partially ordered set with a largest and smallest element. A key technical device in our analysis is a connection with directed graphs. We use a Wold decomposition for partial isometries to describe the models for these dilations, and we discuss how the basic properties of a dilation depend on the row contraction.

We give an example of a space X with the property that every orientable fibration with the fiber X is rationally totally non-cohomologous to zero, while there exists a nontrivial derivation of the rational cohomology of X of negative degree.

Dirac Quantization of t’Hooft-Polyakov Monopole Field: Axial Hamiltonization

In this article, we carry out the Hamiltonization in the axial gauge,of the t’Hooft-Polyakov monopole field outside the localized region, which represents the monopole’s core. One feature of the treatment here, is using the Higgs vacuum condition as both strong and weak equation instead of using it in the degree of freedom reduction.     

Reynold''s Transport Theorem for Differential Inclusions

The well-known Reynold's Transport Theorem deals with the integral over a time-dependent set (that is evolving along a smooth vector field) and specifies its semiderivative with respect to time. Here reachable sets of differential inclusions are considered instead. Dispensing with any assumptions about the regularity of the compact initial set, we give sufficient conditions on the differential inclusion for the absolute continuity (of the integral) with respect to time and its weak derivative is formulated as a Hausdorff integral over the topological boundary.
